Husbands and wives, fathers and mothers, you're stationed around the world, serving our country – away from spouse and children – with one of you "going it alone." Whether you're the one who's away or the one who's at home, life is strained when the family's apart. Parenting can be hard when you're alone. It's tough to parent by yourself, day in and day out; when your spouse is gone, you're doing everything, and it's stressful. And how do you help the children deal with the fact that Dad or Mom is gone, and you don't know when he or she will come home? When you're apart from your soul mate, it can be hard to keep your marriage intact, let alone help it to grow and thrive. What can you do to build up your marriage at this time? How do you build a deeper relationship with your spouse who's thousands of miles away? With the family separated, feelings of stress and loneliness can mount. It's a hard time. We realize your sacrifice, and we're grateful.
We'd like to give something back to you – something to help make it easier while you're apart. We call it a "care package from the heart." We all need "care packages." We know firsthand how "going it alone" adds to stress, stirs up feelings of loneliness, and can strain relationships. You see, marriage and parenting isn’t just a "clinical practice" for us; it's also a very personal topic. Mort and his wife's marriage spiraled downward after three of their infant children died in less than two years. They saved their marriage and then developed a 20-exercise "Marriage Fitness" plan to help other couples. Erin, once a single mother of five, is now remarried and the mother of 13 children – three as a birth-parent, two as step-parent, and eight through adoption. Though not "in your shoes," we're feeling for you and standing with you. Please accept our two E-books that work together to help you make your family a totally healthy and fit family. These books bring you practical ways to build a closer relationship with your children and with your spouse – full of ideas, tips, and tools to make your family strong, even when you're apart.
Others can buy hard copies of our books at our sites, www.yourmarriagefitness.com and www.parentingwithsuccess.com. But we'd like you to have the electronic versions of these books – absolutely free – as a simple gift, a simple thank you.
Thank you for serving. Please visit www.yourmarriagefitness.com for more free information on how to strengthen your marriage and www.totallyfitmom.com for free information to help moms feel great, look great, have less stress and more energy, and gain parenting tips and insight that make life easier and more enjoyable.
All the best,
If you don’t have a family member serving in active duty, this offer is not for you. We’re aware that non servicemen and women can use this site to
“rip us off” and take copies of these books. We’re willing to take that risk, for the greater benefit of getting these two books into the right hands – the hands of our active servicemen and women. We believe it’s more important to give a
gift that supports our men, women, and families who so generously serve our country than it is to be concerned about persons without integrity who deliberately steal material without shame.
